Mojave Productions Attends APT Fall Marketplace 2017

Palm Springs – Mojave Productions is pleased to announce its participation in the 2017 American Public Television Fall Marketplace, the annual gathering of Public Television content executives, this year held Nov. 6-9 in Salt Lake City. Mojave’s current series project, Food Over 50, is being screened at APT Fall Marketplace to Public Television programmers representing all 340 member-stations within the Public Broadcasting System. Presentation of Food Over 50 is administrated by WKAR-TV, East Lansing, MI. Food Over 50’s distribution representative is American Public Television.

Food Over 50 is the result of Mojave Production’s passion for great recipes that also happen to be good for us, plus our diligent research into Public Television and its Boomer-heavy viewership demographic.

“The median viewing age for PBS is 65,” confirmed Mojave’s Executive Producer, David Jackson, in a recent statement. “Food Over 50 addresses these millions and millions of viewers with our health-positive message for a maturing populace.

Aside from multiple, in-kitchen cooking segments for each 30-minute episode in the 13-episode series, we also offer appealing out-of-kitchen culinary adventures on an international level, sound nutrition advice in our Second Helpings segments, courtesy of Mojave’s Registered Dietician, Elizabeth Kelsey, and our entertaining and inspirational Earn What You Eat fitness segments intended to keep us active as we age.”
